1. Scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts, courses, training sessions, coaching services, language courses, workshops and other services concluded between AMD Reisemanagement GmbH, operating under the brand AMD Trainings (hereinafter referred to as “AMD”) and its customers (hereinafter referred to as “the participant”).
By registering for a course or booking a service, the participant agrees to these GTC.
2. Services offered
AMD offers, in particular, the following services:

Language courses (German, English, French, Russian, Japanese, Armenian, etc.)

One-to-one lessons and group courses
-
Intensive courses and business language training
-
Online and on-site training
-
Translation and coaching services
-
In-company courses and customised programmes
-
Preparation for language examinations
The exact scope of services is defined in the respective course description on the website or in the individual offer.
AMD reserves the right to adapt course content, schedules, trainers or teaching methods, provided that the general character of the course is not significantly changed.
3. Registration and conclusion of contract
Registration can be made:

or in writing
The contract is concluded upon written confirmation by AMD.
There is no entitlement to a specific teacher or a specific training location.
The number of participants in group courses is limited. Registrations are considered in the order in which they are received.
4. Prices and terms of payment
All prices are given in euros (€) and are either inclusive or exclusive of statutory VAT, as indicated on the invoice.
Payment is made by:

bank transfer

Online POS

cash payment (by prior agreement)
Unless otherwise agreed, the full course fee must be paid before the course begins.
A course place is only bindingly reserved after receipt of payment.
In the event of late payment, AMD is entitled to assign the place to another participant or to exclude the participant from the course.
5. Withdrawal, cancellation and course interruption
5.1 Cancellation by the participant
Cancellations must be made in writing by e-mail.
The following cancellation fees apply:

Up to 14 days before course start: free of charge

13–7 days before course start: 50% of the course fee
-
From 6 days before course start or in case of no-show: 100% of the course fee
A course that has already started cannot be refunded.
5.2 Cancellation by AMD
AMD reserves the right to cancel or postpone courses for important reasons, such as:

an insufficient number of participants
-
illness of the teacher
-
force majeure
In this case, any payments already made will be fully refunded or, upon request, credited towards another course. Any further claims are excluded.
6. Liability
AMD is only liable for damage caused by intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty.
No liability is assumed for personal belongings of participants.
Participation in lessons (on-site or online) is at the participant’s own risk.
7. Copyright / Teaching materials
All teaching materials, scripts, presentations, audio and video files are the intellectual property of AMD or the respective licensors.
Any distribution, reproduction or publication without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
8. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and Austrian data protection law.
Only data required for:

course organisation

payment processing
-
communication
-
issuing of certificates of attendance
will be processed (name, address, e-mail, telephone number, possibly date of birth).
Data is not passed on to third parties unless required by law or necessary for the performance of the contract.
Participants have the right to:

9. Online training
For online courses (e.g. via Zoom, MS Teams, etc.), the participant is responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and functioning technical equipment.
Any interruptions or failures caused by the participant’s technical issues do not entitle them to a refund.
10. Code of conduct (on-site training)
Respectful behaviour in the training facilities is mandatory.
Discrimination, harassment, drugs and alcohol are strictly prohibited.
AMD reserves the right to exclude participants from the course in the event of serious misconduct, without any right to a refund.
11. Jurisdiction and applicable law
Austrian law shall apply exclusively.
The place of jurisdiction is Wiener Neustadt, Austria.
12. Severability clause
If any provision of these GTC is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
